Half Hog Deposit - October 2024

1 Half Hog Deposit = $150.00 + $0.00 Assembly

One half hog yields approximately 80-100 pounds of meat depending on weight of animal and customer cut selection. The hogs will be butchered in October 2024. In early October, we will contact you with a cut sheet and recommendations on how to have your hog butchered and packaged. Your pork will be available for pickup from our farm or Heritage Country Meats in Jefferson, WI.

Final price is determined by hanging weight of hog x $4.49/pound plus processing. Please note, hanging weight is higher than the final weight of cut and packaged pork.

For example: a 90 pound hanging half hog x $4.49/pound = $404.10, plus $175 for processing = $579.10 total

Processing costs can vary greatly depending on customer selection of cut, smoking, slicing, and sausage. We estimate processing can cost anywhere from $120-$250 per half hog.
